How long have you been playing?

Singing since I was 4 years old.  Guitar since about 10, but a long layoff in between to play  other instruments or just

  sing.

What other bands/projects are you known for?

Abattoir, Bloodlust, Bitch, Tactics, Pagan War Machine, Dreams Of Damnation

  Describe your sound/style, if possible

Vocals?  Its hard to describe, other than I spent quite a few years working on it, making  quite a few mistakes, and ended

up with the  voice you  hear today.  Midrange is the strength, but ear-piercing highs are still available.  It is unique in this

cookie-monster  world of metal.  I refuse to suck on purpose.  Guitar? I would say  Neanderthal heavy-handed  rhythm

with good use of chords.  But soloing?  Blues-based at best.  Slow and methodical, if not flashy.  I will  always strive to

be on key.  I have lots of work to do to be the guitarist that I still want to be.

  What equipment do you use?

I swear by Gibson Guitars  -- I have twelve Gibsons.  #1 is a 2002 Les Paul Standard.  All of my guitars have EMG pickups.

Amps?  I have an Ampeg  VL1002 with two Ampeg 4x12 cabs loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. For smaller gigs,

I also have an Ampeg VL503 combo amp.  I  Have been playing Ampeg since 1989 and still have a full SVT bass rig.

Favorite Food                                              Favorite Drink

Evenly split between Italian and Mexican.     Coffee with a Diet Coke chaser.

What do you hope ultimately happens with AAA?

Everything I hoped for in starting this band has already come true.  I gave up the pipe dream of being a rich famous rock star years ago.  I just want to write and perform music

with great musicians.  It really is that simple.  If, as a result, we put out more albums, and get to play around the world, it is all icing on the cake . . . this life is cake.  These are

some great players and people.  I hope we can grow together and give 100% at all times.

How long have you been playing?

Most people think I am full of it when I say I picked up the guitar and played it for the first time when I was nearly 22.  I picked

it up on and off for years.  It wasnt until 97/98 that I picked it up and worked on it seriously.  Basically, I have been playing for

 12 years total.

What other bands/projects are you known for?

 Raven Mad and Hangar 18

 Describe your sound/style, if possible

My sound is a collection of many of the wonderful pieces of music I have played and heard.  So my style is a combination of

some jazz, some funk, some rock music, and straight-ahead Heavy Metal.  My style  is also more melodic than shredding.

I can't play any faster or more insane than some of these guys like Petrucci, etc.  So I  put more melody and more weird stuff

in my  playing to try and stand out and be me.  Lastly, my music tends to be quite aggressive.

What equipment do you use?

Gotta love the Jacksons.  I also use a Fender Strat American Deluxe which I love.  What a universal instrument it is.  I also rely heavily on Mesa Boogie for my amp and cab needs.

Specifically, I have a Tri-Axis,  a 2:90 amp, and a Mark IV combo.

Favorite Food                                             Favorite Drink

Anything and everything is damn good.       I know I am supposed to put beer or Jack Daniels or something here ... screw that!  I like water the best.

What do you hope ultimately happens with AAA?

I hope to travel quite a bit with AAA.  I do intend to be a musician for a living.  Luckily, AAA allows me the opportunity to put my soul out there and try different and new things to

see if people dig it.  I hope AAA will get some notoriety and for us to get out of the local rat race in L.A. and put us on another plane where we can be regarded as professionals

and one kick-ass band!

How long have you been playing?

Been playing since I was 17.

What other bands/projects are you known for?

Black Orchid (1987), PrimeEvil, Abraxas (1990-94) Splotch, Sikfist (1999-2001) and a lot of session work and 'sit-ins' for various

jazz, R&B, and metal bands.   I love  to play!

  Describe your sound/style, if possible

Starting out, my bass playing came about from seeing Iron Maiden live at The Long Beach Arena in 1980.  Steve Harris slamming

the bass with his fingers and the sound that   came from that bass and out of those cabs yeah, a musical erection!  I bought my

first bass, a 1980 BC Rich Eagle 4-string, Gallien Krueger 400RB.  I played with my fingers as   I knew this is how bass was

supposed to be played.  I kept my sound as clear (trebly) as possible with great lows and thundering bottoms.  I crossed my

sound between Geezer Butler, Steve Harris, and Chris Squire, who are also my influences along with Jaco Pastorius.  My style

comes from the various bands and musicians I've had the pleasure to play with and listen to.  I've learned from guitarists, so my

playing  was not as traditional as  most bass players are, as where they  just keep the bottom and stay behind.  I've mostly been

in one guitar playing bands and I had to fill up the space.

What equipment do you use?

My baby is my Yamaha TRB-5.Prior to that was my BC Rich Eagle 4 string, but as with my style and outlook on playing, I have to progress.  So I went with a 5 string.  That's where

my TRB-5 came in.  I love them broad necks where I can fondle that neck and let my fingers run about.  Love them so much, that I bought 2 more this year.  One fretless, the other set neck.

I play through my ole faithful, GK 2000RB with my newly purchased EBS 4x10, 1x15.  I also have several other 4 string basses, Fender, Hondo, BC Rich Eagle Fretless, Ventura Jazz Bass.

Favorite Food                                       Favorite Drink

You're talking to a carnivore.                  H20, Diet Rite, or Diet Coke

A BIG steak and some ruffage.

What do you hope ultimately happens with AAA?

If the next few years are anything like these past few months. We will go on to bigger and better things.  What will make it even better and pleasurable is that I'm doing this with my

great friends, one being a childhood friend, all my brothers.  Everything that has come up, we handled with the greatest of ease and effortlessly played the most brutal, time and time

again.  The rich and fame is not my goal and never was my focal point.  What is, is that we go on this road being true to ourselves, to our music and to the fans (our friends) who like

and who will like our music.  I equate a fan as a friend. You like our music, support us, you are our friends.  This is a journey that I will enjoy going on with my brothers.

How long have you been playing?

Early on as a kid . . . I must have 8-9 years of age.  My older brothers played in bands, so I was influenced quite a bit with Led Zeppelin,

Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Santana and early radio, but because of John Bonham (R.I.P.), I decided to pursue my drumming career.

Then came along Neil Peart from RUSH, but that';s another story ...........

What other bands/projects are you known for?

    Black-Orchid(1987) -Nocturnal Fear(1988-90) -Demolition(1991-94) -Coffin Texts(1995-2004) -Anger As Art(PRESENT)

    What equipment do you use?

Drums: 8pc. Yamaha Recording Series (Birch wood, black finish), 14" Pearl piccolo snare drum (wood finish); Hardware: Paiste cymbals, Combination Zildjian and Paiste China types

and hi/hats; Electronics: Alesis DM5 18-bit module, Roland acoustic drum triggers for both bass drums and for the piccolo snare: 10 channel Behringer MXB1002 mixing console for the

rack toms, Roland triggerpad for effects; Audio-Technica microphones; SKB cases for my rack; Sticks: Vater 2b nylon tip (suggested by Mr. Richard Christy -- horns up bro!); and

an 8" chrome electric fan from Wlagreen's to cool me off ......... and these are my baby's.

Describe your sound/style, if possible:

Well, besides playing in the Death Metal scene for a decade, I'd say I'm more in the extreme genre of the trade.  I'm adaptable to most anything, may it be fusion jazz, Latin, top 40 or barrage

fire-napalm sending-Apache helicopter blasting-grind beats -- Metal is just one of them.

Favorite Food                                              Favorite Drink

Mongolian Bar-B-Que, Mexican, Italian,         Mainly Red-Bulls, Monster Energy, and Wild Cherry Pepsi.  Water from the garden hose.........

Chinese, Peruvian, you name it.  I'm not

too crazy about tofu (blaaaa!)

What do you hope ultimately happens with AAA?

Record our first full length together.  Get a chance to see the world a bit, have fun.  You can't do this without having a little fun.  Secondly,  I'd like to see us grow as a band, bring on future

challenges musically and lyrically.  The passion is there, we just have to fine tune it, bring it together, and finally, present to you the best that Thrash Metal has to offer.  It's not over yet,

metal shall ive on ......... this is only the beginning!  HORNS UP!!!
