ANGER AS ART - the embodiment and perhaps savior of American Thrash Metal. The creation of Thrash Metal pioneer Steve Gaines (of Abattoir, Bloodlust, Tactics, Pagan War Machine, Dreams of Damnation fame).

Admit it. There is a place inside of you where your anger burns deeply and bright. Somehow, the sound of that anger cannot be transmitted, or at least it couldn't. Until now. You have a voice - an avenue for release. Embrace your anger - convert it to art. Anger As Art.

Following the release of the Anger As Art CD in September 2004 to rave reviews and open-armed acceptance in the metal community worldwide, demand for the music to be performed live became insatiable. And now, there is a band. What else would they be called but ANGER AS ART? With a pedigree as strong as the music, these musicians can ensure that the future of American Thrash Metal will be... well ... ANGRY!

2006 will see the release of the band's 2nd full length album, entitled Callous And Furor. Brandishing the music on these 2 discs as the ultimate metal weapon, Anger As Art are set to establish their brand of Thrash Metal as the standard of the metal world. June 2007.

So, here we are... marking the 3 year anniversary of the existence of Anger As Art. For those who don't really know, the band was formed on D-Day - June 6, 2004 at the Brave Words And Bloody Knuckles Six Pack Weekend in Cleveland, Ohio.   The story of 'how' has been told ad nauseum... and doesn't need to be repeated.   The last 3 years have been amazing - a lot has been accomplished that many said could never be done. Doing the metal Festival Circuit, playing with Testament, Destruction, Obituary, Laaz Rockit, Overkill, Agent Steel... many others whose names we forget (or refuse to mention), Touring the USA, signing with Old School Metal Records - and releasing 2 albums...

... where were we? oh yeah! - appearing on radio, television, shooting videos, doing magazine interviews, being asked to endorse or represent various musical equipment manufacturers... and believe it or not - getting ready for album #3. We haven't even finsihed touring behind CALLOUS AND FUROR yet. Thanks for the opportunity. The resurgence of Thrash Metal here in the USA has us pumped up. It is a good time for Anger As Art - and for you! If I would have listened to all of the people who said "you can't do it!" I might be as miserable as them.

Also, I know we went way too long in updating this site. Heard enough grief from some of you... so 'shaddup'.   For the fans, we are doing more of our internet business through MySpace now than ever before, so please follow that link for updated news, show info, merchandise info, and flyers, photos, etc. and personal contact. Simply put - it is easier to hit the target audience there. Easier to answer emails, show inquiries, and to really get some feedback from you.

Another thing - the website THRASH UNLIMITED www.thrashunlimited.com has started the official Anger As Art forum. Go there - create a topic, and we (or any of the fans) will get into a discussion, shouting match, or whatever. We don't know how or if it will grow, but check it out.

We will be using this site primarily as a marketing tool for the media (mags, TV, radio, etc).   We will soon be loading up about a year's worth of photographs - as well as converting the media page to a user friendly space to download photos, logos. Any of you are welcome to them.
